Retrofit film or replacement glass?
PriviFilm is a smart glass alternative—not replacement glazing.
PriviFilm applies switchable PDLC film to suitable existing glass. Factory-made switchable smart glass replaces the glazing unit. The correct route depends on the glass, project stage and required finish.

Is PriviFilm smart film or switchable glass?
PriviFilm is switchable self-adhesive PDLC smart film designed to retrofit suitable existing glass. It is an alternative to replacement switchable smart glass; it is not a replacement glazing unit.
Who supplies PriviFilm in the UK?
Forti Nova is the UK distributor for PriviFilm and manages UK product supply, technical support and the applicable delivery route.
Who installs PriviFilm?
Projects may be delivered by the Forti Nova in-house team or a suitable trained PriviFilm contractor. The route depends on location, project requirements, capability and availability.
Can I buy PriviFilm without installation?
Yes. Made-to-measure supply-only PriviFilm starts from £275 per square metre plus VAT. Customers can also request surveyed professional installation from £350 per square metre plus VAT.
Does PriviFilm train installers?
Yes. The PriviFilm Academy delivers practical smart film installer training at Forti Nova in Blackburn. Training begins a separate provisional and approval process; attendance alone does not grant Approved Installer status.
Is PriviFilm developing outside the UK?
Yes. PriviFilm.ae is the dedicated GCC channel for project and strategic-partner enquiries. International partner development includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, India and Europe. Forti Nova manages the UK supply, installation support and Academy route. Local capability, distributor appointments and any protected territory are confirmed separately in writing.
