Every order includes your made-to-measure smart film with prepared electrical connections, a correctly sized transformer, required wiring and accessories, and a remote control. The system is checked before manufacture.

The displayed product price is £275/m² excluding VAT (£330/m² including VAT) of the proposed manufactured film size. Formula: width in mm × height in mm × quantity ÷ 1,000,000 × £275. The Stripe total includes 20% VAT and any applicable delivery. Any genuinely project-specific variation must be agreed and refunded or separately authorised—never silently added.

Supply-only smart film questions

How much is supply-only smart film in the UK?

PriviFilm supply-only smart film is £275 per square metre plus VAT (£330 including VAT), calculated from the finished manufactured film dimensions. Mainland UK delivery is £30 plus VAT (£36 including VAT) below £900 product value excluding VAT and free from £900 excluding VAT.

What measurements do I enter for made-to-measure smart film?

Enter the glass opening size in millimetres at three widths and three heights. The configurator uses the smallest width and height as the proposed film size. If the film must extend behind removable glazing beads, measure the full glass area behind the beads—not only the glass currently visible between them.

Do my measurements need to include the area behind glazing beads?

Yes, if the film is intended to run behind removable glazing beads. Measure the full glass area the film needs to cover, not only the visible opening. You remain responsible for confirming the beads can be removed and refitted and that the entered dimensions cover the required area.

Why must I measure each pane three times?

Glass and frames are not always perfectly square. Measure width at the top, centre and bottom, and height at the left, centre and right. The configurator uses the smallest measurement to reduce the risk of ordering film that is too large.

Is made-to-measure smart film returnable?

Made-to-measure film is manufactured to the dimensions you approve. It cannot normally be returned because the measurements entered were incorrect or did not include the required area behind glazing beads. Your statutory rights still apply where goods are faulty or not made to the approved specification.

What comes with a supply-only order?

Every supply-only order is a complete wired smart film kit with remote control. It includes made-to-measure film with prepared electrical connections, the correctly sized transformer, required wiring and accessories, plus the remote. PriviFilm checks the pane schedule and system before manufacture.

Can I install smart film myself?

Smart film application requires careful glass preparation, handling, electrical termination and edge protection. Supply-only is best suited to competent installers. Final connection to the mains must be completed by an appropriately qualified electrician. PriviFilm also provides installer training and a professional installation service.

When is my order manufactured?

Payment reserves the made-to-measure order but does not start manufacture. PriviFilm checks the pane schedule and kit details, then sends a final approval schedule. Manufacture begins only after the customer approves those final dimensions. The normal lead time is 2–3 weeks after approval.

Can PriviFilm install the smart film for me?

PriviFilm assesses the location, glass, access, controls and timescale before confirming whether the in-house team or an approved contractor can support the project, subject to coverage and availability.
